Firstly, the tow alarm is based on the status of the ACC to determine whether it is effective, but the displacement alarm is based on the vibration sensor;
Secondly, the tow alarm is always in effect after configuration, it will alarm as long as the conditions are met, but the displacement alarm is one-time, after configured and the alarm was triggered, you need configure again if you want to use it.
If your device is inactive, this means that your device has not been online, you need do following configurations to get it online:
Please get a suitable sim card for the device firstly;
Configure the IP, Port and APN for the device to get it online.
★ Before using the product, make sure that the equipment is connected to external power;
★ The sim card must be inserted correctly before connecting to external power;
★ The working voltage scope of this tracker is 9-90V, the voltage of the oil line must no more than 24V.
Q：For MV720 and MV730: If this product need work with SIM card and what's the requirements on the sim card?
Yes, this product must work with a SIM card, and the SIM card must meet the following conditions:
Both the MV720 and MV730 are 2G version, so the sim card must be compatible with the 2G GSM network, some sim cards are 3G or 4G version, but if they are compatible with the 2G GSM network, then they also can work with the MV720 and MV730;
The sim card must remove the PIN code;
Please make sure the sim card has enough balance left;
If you want to real-time track the device on google maps then the sim card must enable the internet data traffic;
If you want to configure the tracker via SMS, then also please enable the caller ID display function.
Q：For MV720 and MV730: When i start engine of my car the device make call and send alarm message to me, why?
In this case, please carefully check whether the ACC line is connected to the power supply system.
The sensitivity of the vibration sensor has 9 levels and can be adjusted, the default level is 5, the smaller the value, the better the sensitivity. You can adjust the vibration sensitivity via the Micodus application, and you also can disarm the tracker to cancel the vibration alarm.
About the cut off fuel function, please follow below 4 points strictly:
The oil circuit must be powered to perform the oil cut-off function;
In the case of network communication signals and satellite signals, when the equipment speed exceeds 20km/h, the oil circuit will be turned on-off, and if it is below 20km/h, the oil will be completely cut off immediately;
In the case of network communication signal and no satellite signal, the oil circuit will be on-off after sending the oil cut command, and it will be completely cut off after 2, 3 minutes;
The oil circuit will be cut off when the oil cut command is sent in the dormant state, and then connected, and the fuel will be cut off completely when the device detected vibration; (this purpose is to save power)
The GPS locator works based on satellite system and communication network, like cellphone, if the product has good signal, there will have no limitation on the positioning distance and transmission distance.
Q：For all MiCODUS GPS trackers: When I charge the device, why the led indicator is still off ? If the tracker has problem?

Q：For all MiCODUS GPS trackers: Why the location which displayed on google maps has error with my real location?
According this situation, there are two possible situations:
★ GPS tracker supports 3 positioning ways: GPS, LBS and WiFi, most GPS tracker supports GPS and LBS positioning ways, some also supports WiFi positioning, different positioning ways have different accuracy:
GPS accuracy: 5-10m; WiFi accuracy: 0-50m; LBS accuracy: 100-2000m;
So if your location is not accurate, please check if your device doesn't have GPS signal and positioning via LBS or WiFi;
★ Please adjust the data upload interval, if the data upload interval is long, the current position which you see should be the previous upload position not the realtime position, so you need short the upload interval to let the device upload data more frequencyly.
If your device is offline, this means your device has been online before, you can check below points:
Please check if the sim card in the tracker still has data traffic and have you configured the APN;
Please check if the APN you configured is exact correct. You know any name you used to configure the APN the device will reply "apn ok", but only when the APN is match with the sim card in the tracker, that just means the APN configured successfully;
Please check if the sim card still has enough balance left.
Q：For all MiCODUS GPS trackers: What is the difference between Geo-fence Alarm Report and Track by Distance Report?
After setting Geo-fence waypoints, you can set alarm when the tracker enters or exits the waypoint. While for Track by Distance, the message will be sent only when the moving distance reaches preset value.
